Absorbing Thin-Film Reflector (ATFR)
Protect a CO2 laser from back reflections that can cause instability and damage when cutting highly reflective metals with this mirror that acts as an optical isolator.
This Cu mirror has a polarization-sensitive thin-film coating that reflects s-polarization and absorbs p-polarization. When used before a reflective phase retarder it will effectively block light returned from the process from reaching the laser.
Absorbing Thin-Film Reflector Specifications
Select the size you require. Note that it must be positioned before the reflective phase retarder, and at an angle where it sees the incident beam as s-polarized.
