High damage threshold, large area, laser energy sensors for a wide variety of uses. Key Features:
EnergyMax Convenience Features:
Coherent’s Multipurpose EnergyMax sensors are economical, pulse energy detectors intended for use with a wide range of lasers operating in the sub-1kHz repetition rate domain. Multipurpose EnergyMax Series sensors feature extremely broad wavelength coverage (190 nm to 12 µm), and are the first commercially available energy sensors to combine large active area (up to 50 mm diameter), high repetition rate operation and high peak power capabilityAll EnergyMax sensors ship standard with a 3” tall post and stand assembly.
The energy linearity specification of +/- 3% across the entire specified energy range (minimum to maximum energy). Across 10-90% of the energy range the energy linearity is +/-2%
The Multipurpose EnergyMax Series comprises six different models that allow measurement over a wide range of wavelengths, beam diameters, average power levels and repetition rates. All these detectors feature Coherent’s unique MaxBlack coating, which offers significantly better damage resistance and mechanical durability characteristics compared to black paints. Multipurpose EnergyMax Series products are also “smart” sensors, and incorporate onboard electronics to automatically correct for ambient temperature, as well as wavelength compensation factors. These sensors are compatible with Coherent LabMax-Pro SSIM, LabMax-TOP, FieldMax-TOP, and FieldMaxII-P meters. USB and RS232 enabled models are also available.
The 25 mm and 50 mm diameter sensors accept an optional heatsink, which can be easily attached by the user to extend energy and/or repetition rate range.Specifically, these heat sinks allow 25 mm sensors to be used up to 15 W average power, and 50 mm sensors to be used up to 24 W average power.
