The aim of this course is to give the user an overview of the basics of process monitoring in the first step. In the second step, the user is then enabled to operate the processing system independently, including the detection and elimination of operating errors. This knowledge improves the traceability of laser-based production processes.
Topics: Hardware overview - Examples of integration - Optical sensor interface - process monitoring by sensors such as plasma intensity back reflection - laser power back reflection - temperature re-radiation - acoustic signal.Practical exercises: System setup and configuration - Acquisition of a reference data set - Generation of a signal pathway - Collection of a new process signal – Filter settings - Operating mode / live mode - Statistics - Troubleshooting - Result qualification.
Prerequisites: Solid basic knowledge of Windows-based PCs and experience in the operation of Microsoft WIN is required.
