The course prepares students to setup, maintain and repair the ExactCut / Weld 430 system. All sub-assemblies will be explained in terms of setup, adjustment, exchange, and/or repair. The components and functional groups inside the electrical cabinet will be described, including PLC, the safety circuit, and axes drivers. The operating modes of LaserFrameWork will be covered, CNC files will be created or modified, recipes with laser parameters will be combined with quantities to create job files. The need for customer-specific axis tuning is explained and discussed. All mechanical and optical components will be analyzed in terms of maintenance, repair, or replacement. After successful completion, students should be able to install and setup the system and its accessories, check software features, and adjust system settings. In addition, students will be able to analyze error messages, swap or repair sub-assemblies, and perform maintenance work.
