Coherent's SM-EYDF-6/125-XP fibers are designed for high-performance amplifier systems operating at 1.5 µm. Featuring a 6 µm core diameter and a 125 µm cladding diameter, these fibers provide excellent pump absorption and minimized threshold. The XP version offers ultra-high efficiency and low splice loss, making it suitable for industrial, medical, and defense applications. The NuCOAT fluoroacrylate coating enhances environmental durability and ensures long-term reliability under demanding conditions.
