LMA-HDF-25/250, Large Mode Area Ho-Doped Double Clad Fiber

Product image of LMA-HDF-25/250, Large Mode Area Ho-Doped Double Clad Fiber

Coherent Large Mode Area (LMA) Ho-doped fibers are designed for high-power fiber amplifiers and lasers operating around 2 µm. Featuring a 25 µm core diameter and a 250 µm cladding diameter, these fibers deliver excellent performance with high pump absorption and low splice loss. The advanced NuCOAT fluoroacrylate coating ensures durability and reliability in demanding industrial, medical, and defense applications.

Features

  • Ho-doped core - Optimized for 2 µm operation
  • NuCOAT fluoroacrylate coating - Provides durability in extreme environments
  • High pump absorption - Reduces required fiber length
  • Proof tested to > 100 kpsi - Ensures long-term reliability
  • RoHS compliant

Applications

  • High power CW and pulsed fiber lasers
  • Eye-safe medical lasers
  • Military LIDAR systems
  • Material processing
