Coherent Erbium-Doped Fiber Coupler (EDFC) fibers are optimized for use in compact optical amplifier systems. With an 80 µm cladding diameter and compatibility with high NA pump lasers at 980 nm, these fibers enable high coupling efficiency and reduced splice loss. The NuCOAT fluoroacrylate coating ensures reliability and environmental durability, making these fibers suitable for space-constrained telecom and data center applications.
