Edge/AIM Sub-system Customer Frontline Training with Installation

Course Description: The Edge/AIM installation and customer frontline training course is for customers who prefer Coherent's assistance with installing and operating Edge/AIM lasers. The course covers the principles of laser safety regulations, site requirements, diagnostics, and troubleshooting. Trainees will learn the different operating modes and basic-level fault-finding to reduce downtime and the need for factory support. The proper handling and cleaning of process fibers will also be covered. The sub-system training includes sub-system mechanical overview, FRU inspection and replacement, software start-up/shut-down, and diagnostic and troubleshooting with basic part/parameter setup and execution.

Prerequisites: An understanding of basic laser theory and electro-optic devices is recommended. Technical knowledge helps complete the training course. Complete product knowledge requires a thorough understanding of various components of the fiber laser system.
