This course is not intended for Coherent FSEs; it is for external service representatives.The legacy Vitara-S Service Representative Course covers the theory, installation, operation, and maintenance of the Vitara oscillator, including power track mirror and NDM assembly replacement. This course covers the troubleshooting for: no output, no lasing, low modelocking power, and unstable modelocking. Students will operate the laser with the latest factory software and spectrometer. This course will certify engineers to service the following part numbers of Vitara-S systems: 1217004, 1225041, 1225042, 1264697, and 1264702.The course is for advanced laser engineers with a strong optical background. Upon successfully completing the course, students should be able to train others to control and operate the laser, turn ON and OFF procedures, operate the Software, perform basic troubleshooting, find log file location, and perform chiller maintenance.
