The UVtransfer C-Level course prepares students to operate, maintain and service the application system. Students will be informed about the safety aspects at the application system, and all main sources of hazards. Course content ranges from basic theory of optical functions to system operation, maintenance procedures, and service guidelines. Extensive hands-on laboratory time allows students to test their knowledge and develop skills to ensure that they are capable to operate, maintain, and service the application system safely.
Topics: Function of all main processes (LLO, LIFT, and repair), wafer loading/unloading, Wafer alignment, and process recipe setup; Safety aspects and sources of hazards; Operation of the system in different working modes and duty circles; Performance check. System maintenance procedures include energy/attenuator calibration, laser gas exchange, filter exchange, and parameter calibration; System service procedures include system installation, leveling, laser integration, identification of typical errors, and troubleshooting.
Prerequisites: Complete product knowledge requires a basic understanding of electrical/electronic functions and optical physics. Students should be able to read and speak English or the local language, depending on the training center's location. Some basic knowledge of how to read technical schematics and/or block diagrams would be very helpful.
