The UVblade C-Level course prepares students to operate, maintain, and service the beam delivery system. Students will be informed about the safety aspects of the beam delivery system and all main sources of hazards. Course content ranges from basic theory of optical functions to system operation, maintenance procedures, and service guidelines. Extensive hands-on laboratory time allows students to test their knowledge and develop skills to ensure that they are capable to operate, maintain and service the beam delivery system safely.
Topics: Function of all main modules like Attenuator, Beam Stabilization Unit, Beam Profiler, Energy Sigma Monitor, Homogenizer, and Projection Lens; Safety aspects and sources of hazards; Operation of the system in different working modes and duty circles; Performance check. System maintenance procedures like Attenuator calibration; System service procedures like system recovery after laser maintenance and optic handling.
Prerequisites: Complete product knowledge requires a basic understanding of electrical/electronic functions and optical physics. Students should be able to read and speak English or the local language, depending on the training center's location. Some basic knowledge of how to read technical schematics and/or block diagrams would be very helpful.
