The Beam Delivery Optics B-Level course prepares students to operate and maintain Beam Delivery Optics components. Students will be informed about the safety aspects of the application system and all main sources of hazards. Course content ranges from basic theory of optical functions to system operation and maintenance procedures. Extensive hands-on laboratory time allows students to test their knowledge and develop skills to ensure that they are capable of operating and maintaining the Beam Delivery Optics components safely.
Topics: Function of the Beam delivery optics; Safety aspects and sources of hazards; Operation of the system; Performance check. System maintenance procedures like cleaning and calibration.
Prerequisites: Complete product knowledge requires a basic understanding of electrical/electronic functions and optical physics. Students should be able to read and speak English or the local language, depending on the training center's location.
