This course aims to give the students an overview of the basic features and capabilities of the LaserFrameWork (LFW) software. Working with Job, Recipe, and VLM Layout shows the student how to create a job correctly. The students learn how to create laser layouts with the VLM software, including the properties of the laser parameter for optimization of the marking quality. Upon completion, the students will be able to execute the created laser layouts on different materials on a comparable laser system. The students should bring their own material to find the ideal parameter for the marking. Optionally aligned to the customer’s system, the training content includes image processing, 3D, or FFM.
Topics: Laser safety and laser principle; laser system overview; creating Jobs and Recipes in the LaserFrameWork (LFW), including VLM drawings; properties of the various laser parameters, ideally on the customer's material. Optionally, image processing or 3D freeform according to the customer's system.
Prerequisites: Thorough knowledge of PC and Windows operation and basic application request knowledge. Basic electromechanical principles and safety knowledge are required.
