The HighLight FL-ARM - GEN2 Customer Frontline course is designed for people who service, operate, maintain, and install the HighLight FL-ARM - GEN2 laser systems. The course covers the principles of preventive inspection and health checks, safety regulations, site requirements, and troubleshooting. Students will learn to identify the proper operation and components of the laser system. Students will be qualified to diagnose faults at the major component level. The ARMGUI and ArmServiceTool will be reviewed. Upon successfully completing the course, students should be able to install and swap process cables (only FFC/FFS) and lasers.
Topics: Safety, laser, electrical and lab, laser overview, RS-232/Ethernet operation, software update, fault code identification, service response, service tools (software and physical), cooling circuits, process cable replacement, and laser replacement.
Note: At the end of the course, the students get a certification with a validity duration of 18 months. After 18 months, we recommend a refreshment training (1 day) to renew the certification.
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of electrical engineering is an advantage. Complete product knowledge requires a good understanding of different electronic and optical devices and their interdependence in fiber laser systems.
