ExactCut / Weld 430 Application

The course prepares students to understand the effect of laser parameters on different materials and how to optimize process parameters (gas type and pressure, focus, etc.).Cutting or welding strategies will be discussed in general and for individual products. The connection to a post-processor (Cagila) and the import of CAD data will be explained. After successful completion, students should be able to judge and optimize the cutting or welding process, develop cutting strategies and handle the import of CAD data.

Topics: Optimization of laser parameters and other process parameters, settings for the post-processor, cutting strategies.

Prerequisites: Experience with the ExactCut / Weld system and laser cutting / welding.
