The course prepares students to operate the Integral welding system, control and adjust laser parameters, use existing CNC programs, and create MAP and track files. Basic adjustments and maintenance work are covered as well. After successful completion, students should be able to operate the system, adjust laser parameters (if permitted), assess welding results, and evaluate error messages. The lecture shall be given by the service technician during the initial setup.
Topics: Laser and electrical safety; system overview and options; beam path, binocular microscope and focus adjustments; laser parameters and their effects; daily maintenance.
Prerequisites: Understanding CNC-controlled systems is helpful, and a basic understanding of (laser) welding is recommended.
