Performance – Operation and Maintenance

The course prepares students to operate the Performance welding system, control and adjust laser parameters, basic adjustments and maintenance work is covered as well.

Topics: Laser and electrical safety; system overview and options; beam path, binocular microscope and focus adjustments; laser parameters and their effects; application hints, daily maintenance.

Prerequisites: A basic understanding of (laser) welding is recommended. After successful completion, students should be able to operate the system, adjust laser parameters (if permitted), assess welding results and evaluate error messages.
