Performance – Customer Basic Operation

The course prepares students to operate the Performance welding system, control and adjust laser parameters. After successful completion, students should be able to operate the system and adjust laser parameters (if permitted). The lecture shall be given by the service technician during the initial setup.

Topics: Laser and electrical safety; system overview and options; beam path, binocular microscope and focus adjustments; laser parameters and their effects; application hints, daily maintenance.

Prerequisites: A basic understanding of (laser) welding is recommended.
