StarCut Tube – Application

The StarCut Tube Application training is designed for people doing process development or process optimization. The course covers laser theory, basic NC programming, and basic application training. Advanced students will learn to setup and optimize the system for proper operation and will be qualified to diagnose faults at a basic level. The teaching content is deepened through practical work on the system.

Topics: Introduction of the SW structure and basic NC programming. Introduction to laser cutting applications by doing focus test and show how to find suitable cutting parameters.

Prerequisites: Thorough knowledge of PC and Windows operation, basic knowledge of NC programming. Sound knowledge of the application request, Tube material and cutting program or CAD drawing of the customer-specific application is recommended, in order to train, setup and optimize the systems to customer-specific needs.
