Application Support
Course Description: This application-focused support can provide a practical introduction to laser welding, laser cutting, or vision topics using HIGHYAG optics. Participants learn how key process parameters, such as focus position, power, and speed, directly influence weld or cut quality. The course can also cover essential vision-system settings and explain how adjustments in illumination, contrast, and focus impact image recognition performance. The scope of support depends on the customer’s request. Hands‑on exercises help participants understand parameter effects, optimize results, and troubleshoot common issues.
Topics: Creating different laser parameter settings. Software, properties of the various laser parameters, ideally on the customers’ material, vision parameters, and illumination settings.
Prerequisites: Knowledge of basic laser theory is recommended, as is basic use of the HIGHYAG optic. The Scanner System must be operational and available.
*Remote training notes: The training can be divided into smaller sections (like 2 times 4 h = 8 h). Access to Microsoft Teams or Zoom on a PC capable of establishing a connection to the remote system.
