HM2D / RLSK Operating Training

Course Description: To teach and certify trainees on the use of the HM2D or RLSK scanner system. Trainees will receive a detailed overview of the scanner system’s hardware and learn to use the RLSK Studio software. Trainees will learn how to program welding recipes and connect the Scanner system to a PLC or Robot. Basic maintenance and how to solve common errors are also part of the training.

Topics: System overview of the Scanner, EPS, and media, Software RLSK Studio overview and programming of welding task, interaction with external PLC via fieldbus, Hardwire I/O, practical training on the system, maintenance, spare parts, and common errors.

Prerequisites: Knowledge of basic laser theory and laser welding processes is recommended; a Windows PC. The Scanner System must be operational and available.

*Remote training notes: The training can be divided into smaller sections (like 4 times 4 h = 16 h). Access to Microsoft Teams or Zoom on a PC capable of establishing a connection to the remote system.
