Featuring the latest Gen VIII glass composition, Coherent Large Mode Area (LMA) and Polarization Maintaining LMA (PLMA) Ytterbium-doped double clad fibers are ideally suited for military, industrial, and medical applications, including linearly polarized fiber lasers and amplifiers. This fiber features a single-mode large core/cladding ratio with a low NA, suitable for both CW and pulsed laser applications. The NuCOAT fluoroacrylate coating enhances environmental durability and ensures long-term reliability, making these fibers an attractive alternative to traditional solid-state lasers.
