First Time Leader Program: Our First Time Leader Program helps new managers build confidence and capability through a blend of learning and real-world application. Through interactive Learning Labs, participants practice key skills, share experiences, and learn from peers. Experienced leaders join these sessions to share their leadership journeys, connect program topics to real challenges, and engage in open Q&A.
The program is delivered globally, including in China, and has recently expanded to the EMEA region—strengthening leadership development across Coherent.
The Coherent Leadership Academy: These six-month development programs equip current and future leaders with the skills needed to inspire, grow and guide their teams effectively. They are structured as learning cohorts, encouraging collaboration, peer learning and cross-functional networking.
Global development programs: Our businesses across regions and functions offer targeted learning opportunities to build critical leadership capabilities. In China, our Leading at the Shop Floor program prepares front-line supervisors to lead high-performing production environments, building skills in communication, conflict management, problem-solving, delegation, stress management, and applying our I CARE values in action.
