Cristina Rodriguez

Executive Vice President, Communications

Cristina Rodriguez is Executive Vice President, Communications at Coherent. Prior to this role, she was Vice President in Intel’s Network and Edge Group (NEX) and served as General Manager of NEX, where she led the company’s Telco, Enterprise Networking, and Edge AI businesses. In this role, she drove the vision and execution of innovative networking infrastructure that enabled customers to build future-ready networks and accelerate transformation across 5G and 6G, artificial intelligence, edge computing, enterprise, and cloud.

Cristina has served on the boards of CTIA, ATIS, and the Telecom Infra Project (TIP), and is an active member of the TelecomTV DSP Leaders Council. She is the recipient of multiple HiTEC 100 Awards honoring the most influential Hispanics in technology, and the Greater Austin Business Award (GABA) for CEO/Site Leader of the Year from the Austin Chamber of Commerce.

Cristina earned her bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Instituto Superior Politécnico José Antonio Echevarría and holds a master’s degree in computer science from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. She has completed the Stanford Executive Accelerator Program from Stanford GSB and the Chief Revenue Officer Program from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
