Featuring an integrated Verdi pump laser, the Micra is a new family of compact, state-of-the-art, broad spectral bandwidth (>100 nm) ultrafast Ti:Sapphire oscillators. Micra combines the exceptional stability and ease-of-use of our Vitesse industrial ultrafast laser with the flexibility and adaptability of our Mira ultrafast oscillator. The result is a stable, easy to use, high-performance oscillator designed for cutting-edge scientific research.

And now the Micra family includes two pump power configurations: The Micra-5 and the Micra-10, equipped with a 5-watt and 10-watt Verdi pump laser, respectively.

With its center wavelength tunability and user-adjustable spectral bandwidth — from <30 nm to over 100 nm — the Micra provides adjustable temporal pulse widths. A full suite of high-end accessories and options are also available, including SynchroLock-AP, carrier envelope phase (CEP) stabilization, a pulse compressor, and the new Silhouette pulse shaper.

With its broadband output, Micra is well suited for demanding research applications, such as THz imaging, optical coherence tomography, and time-resolved spectroscopy, attosecond studies and optical clocks. Compared to alternative products, the flexibility, superior reliability and automated features of the Micra make it much easier to extend the use of ultrafast lasers in these technically demanding applications.
