The EPM2000 series meters are powerful and versatile dual-channel instruments. Each of the EPM2000's channels can be configured as an energy meter or a power meter, regardless of the other channel's setting. Each channel has an independent trigger circuit, but can also be slaved to the other channel for applications when timing is critical. EPM2000 meters can also be set into ratio mode with the press of a button.
The EPM2000 series delivers all the performance advantages of the EPM1000 series. These meters work with a wide range of sensors, allowing them to measure power levels from 100 µW to 10 kW, and energy levels from 100 fJ to 300J.
The combination of a fast analog meter and a large, LCD display panel make the EPM2000 an intuitive, yet powerful instrument. The EPM2000 also features a statistical measurement mode. In this mode, it calculates the minimum, maximum, average, and standard deviation for batches of up to 9999 pulses. Plus, the EPM2000 can be configured, operated and read remotely via the RS-232 or IEEE-488 ports. Coherent also supplies LabVIEW™ tools to further simplify building custom applications in a matter of minutes.
In addition to all these functions, the EPM2000e is designed specifically to measure accumulated energy levels, or doses.
